Before starting Bashir Hood Cleaning, the owner spent years working under the three biggest hood cleaning companies on Long Island. He cleaned restaurant hoods from Nassau County to the East End — commercial kitchens, school cafeterias, hotel restaurants, fast food chains. He learned what proper hood cleaning looks like, and what corners some companies cut when they think nobody's watching.
When he went independent in 2025, he named the company after his father, Bashir — a man who immigrated to America and built a life through hard work and integrity. That name is on every invoice, every photo report, every certificate of cleaning. It means something.
